Inside CIFF Guangzhou 2026: What We Saw Across Different Halls
The annual CIFF Guangzhou 2026 has once again opened at the Pazhou Complex.
As usual, we spent time walking through most of the major halls — from sofas and bedroom furniture, to home décor, international brands, and contemporary design sections.
Overall, the exhibition felt busy. There were a large number of exhibitors and visitors across different halls, with most areas seeing steady traffic throughout the day.
After walking through the fair, one general impression stood out:
there are many exhibitors, and many of them are presenting well-developed products. Some designs feel fresh and innovative, others focus on strong styling, and certain categories offer a very wide selection. Overall, the product quality appears solid, generally in the mid-to-high range.
In this overview, we’ll briefly introduce the main halls.
In the following articles, we’ll go deeper into each category separately.
Exhibitors Overview
At the exhibition, we found that there are hundreds of recognizable brands, along with many smaller exhibitors that are not immediately visible in the main listings.
Some brands that stood out at a glance include names like Sunrise, EVERGREEN DECOR, Uhome, ULI RUG, and ZHU MEI.
Looking a bit closer, certain categories show strong clustering.
For example, there are quite a few carpet-focused brands such as Yuxiu Carpet, SAN DORAN CARPET, SUBILI RUGS, ULI RUG, and FUHUA RUG.
There are also multiple textile suppliers, mainly providing fabrics for furniture production.
Examples include Huge Textile, KEYANG HOME TEXTILE, JINYU TEXTILE, and RAVAIS Textile.
Hall Layout
Here is a general overview of how the exhibition is divided:
- Area D: Home décor & textile fabrics, pet furniture, garden-themed displays, elderly living solutions
- Area A: International Hall, integrated home furnishings, upholstery
- Area B: Upholstery and outdoor furniture
- Areas C & E: Trending products and selected categories
Each area focuses on different product types, so it will be easier for you to navigate by category. There are also guiding staff everywhere, it won’t be hard for you to lose direction.
Sofa Halls
Sofas remain one of the most important categories in home furniture, and as expected, the sofa halls are among the largest, with the highest number of exhibitors.
Here we found many well-known domestic brands here, such as Steel-Land, Linsy, Skyline, SOCO Life, and A Home. These brands generally represent stronger design and quality levels, but their pricing tends to be higher.
For overseas buyers, these brands can be useful references for understanding local design and product positioning. However, if your goal is to find competitively priced products with decent quality, smaller or less well-known suppliers may be a better fit.
Suppliers come from different regions — including nearby areas like Foshan and Dongguan, as well as other provinces such as Shandong and Zhejiang.
Some exhibitors offer full-home furniture collections with sofas as their main category, while others specialize purely in sofas.
In addition to mid-to-high-end sofas, there are also several suppliers offering more compact and functional designs — such as smaller fabric sofas with foldable or storage features. These are more suitable for budget apartments or rental projects.
Alongside sofas, many booths also display lounge chairs, dining sets, coffee tables, and bedside cabinets as supporting products.
Bedroom & Sleep Halls
The bedroom category is divided into two sections:
standard bedroom furniture and smart sleep solutions.
In the standard section, there is a wide variety of products:
- Fabric beds and leather beds
- Simple dormitory-style beds
- Extendable or space-saving beds
- Mattress-focused suppliers
- Medical or care beds
- Supporting products like latex pillows and bedding
Some suppliers are into quality while some suppliers are into competitive price. We found one mattress supplier selling their pocket spring mattress only at US25 per set. We thought this could be very competitive price.
In the smart sleep section, the focus shifts to functional beds and chairs.
Many products are designed around sleep improvement and ergonomics, with each brand presenting its own technology or features.
Massage chairs are also commonly seen in this area. Like general massage chair, chair for beauty salon etc.
Interestingly, this section includes some international brands. While these companies may already have an established presence overseas, exhibiting here helps them gain more visibility among domestic visitors compared to being only in the International Hall.
Lighting & Home Décor Hall
This hall is one of the most visually dense areas of the fair, with a wide range of product types including:
- Lighting
- Decorative accessories
- Artificial plants and trees
- Carpets
Lighting suppliers are mostly concentrated in one area.
Many come from Zhongshan, with some from Zhejiang. The variety is extensive — from crystal chandeliers and pendant lights to floor lamps and decorative fixtures.
The décor section is also large, with some booths displaying thousands of items.
Products include:
- Glass crafts
- Jade-style decorative pieces
- General home décor items with various design styles
- Ceramic vases, including suppliers from Jingdezhen
Many suppliers in this section are based in Huizhou.
Artificial plants include both smaller decorative flowers and large artificial trees. Some suppliers combine real wood trunks with artificial leaves, which is an interesting hybrid approach.
Carpet suppliers also occupy relatively large booths.
Some display oversized carpets for visual impact, while others present a wide range of materials and patterns in dense displays.
There is also a smaller fireplace section, with around a dozen exhibitors showcasing different styles — including built-in wall fireplaces, BBQ-style designs, and more decorative forms.
International Hall
The International Hall features brands from countries such as the United States, Germany, the UK, and Indonesia.
Compared to domestic exhibitors, these brands often emphasize:
- Strong visual identity
- Distinct logo design
- Clear brand color systems
Most booths use English as the primary language, so it will be easy to identify them.
Their booth scale is generally larger, with more refined display layouts.
However, we found that foot traffic here appears relatively lower compared to other halls, possibly because many exhibitors are targeting domestic distribution or partnerships.
For overseas buyers visiting China to explore local suppliers, other halls may be more relevant.
We also noted that some domestic suppliers are mixed into this hall, including metal bed manufacturers, fabric suppliers, and lounge chair producers.
Contemporary Design Hall
The Contemporary Design section stands out for its strong emphasis on design — both in the products and in the booth presentation.
These brands tend to focus more on design capability, whether in furniture itself or in overall interior styling.
From the outside, the booths already feel more refined.
Inside, product arrangement and styling are more carefully curated, giving a more premium impression.
Some products are similar to what can be found in other halls, but the way they are presented here makes them feel more elevated. From our view, you can buy some furniture from local suppliers in other halls but learn how to decorate in this hall.
If you are designers looking for inspiration, this hall is worth spending time in.
General Observations from the Fair
The exhibition overall is crowded — with a high volume of visitors.
We found that the audience includes:
- Local renovation companies
- Domestic distributors looking for brands to represent
- Individual buyers purchasing for personal use
- International buyers from different countries
Most exhibitors provide digital catalogs.
You can usually scan a QR code (WeChat or WhatsApp) to get their latest product information.
Some suppliers are willing to share price lists upon request.
Photography is generally allowed, although some exhibitors restrict it — usually to protect newly developed designs.
Roughly:
- Around 20% of exhibitors focus mainly on export markets and primarily engage with overseas buyers
- About 30–40% of suppliers can communicate in English
- The rest may require translation support or communication tools
